Quite a few visitors to http://www.carmelartgalleries.com/ have paintings that they wish to SELL. Our suggestion first is always to contact the art galleries that we linked from this website to ask if they have an interest.
If that does not help, if you cannot find a gallery in Carmel to purchase your painting, you may wish to COMMENT here on this blog, possibly someone else in the art world is interested in contacting you directly. For this purpose, you need to supply an email to contact you. We reserve the right to delete your comment.

Call for Entries to 2011 Carmel Art Festival
Are you a Plein Air Artist? The Carmel Art Festival has now placed its application for the 2011 juried show on its website, http://www.carmelartfestival.org/
During the past 17 years many artists have received wide recognition from having been juried into this show, and are now represented in very prestigious art galleries.
The Carmel Art Festival's website shows winners of the last 10 years, shown with their winning paintings. During the past two years, ALL paintings in the festival have been placed on the website to encourage absentee bidding, and then left there for all to see throughout the year.
Only 60 artists are chosen each year to be in the Carmel Art Festival. Each year a few talented "emerging artists" make their debut at this event. Are you one of them in 2011?

Carmel Art Galleries
http://www.carmelartgalleries.com/ receives a lot of questions about art & artists, valuation, where to buy and sell particular paintings, and which galleries in Carmel carry which artists, etc.
We may not be able to answer your question, and have therefore created this Blog so you can ask/comment directly with other visitors to our website http://www.carmelartgalleries.com/ who may have the answer or suggestions.
Here is an example of an email I received today:
I am trying to find more paintings and more information about a Russian artist, Sviridov.
What is his first name? Where can I find and view his work?
Thank you,
Carole
Maybe someone out there can COMMENT on this question?
All the best from Carmel-by-the-Sea,
Hella
